Rene focuses his work with boards, CEO’s and executive management teams on business strategy issues tied to revenue growth, valuation increase or attractive and timely liquidity outcomes. Rene’s client experience spans a wide spectrum of business and consumer technology industries in both North America and Europe. He emphasizes helping clients create the right strategy and see it through to execution to ensure material business results.
Before the Chasm Group
Prior to Chasm Group, he served in executive management positions at Oracle, TIBCO and Interwoven Software as well as two start-ups. Prior to that, Rene founded and ran a consulting firm that created and launched the Federal Express consumer-facing shipping and tracking software. He began his career with Regis McKenna, Inc., Silicon Valley’s pre-eminent marketing consulting firm in the 80’s and 90’s. He managed their premier account, Apple, working directly with Steve Jobs for more than five years.
He earned his bachelor's degree in communications from California State University, Fullerton.
